Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

I hate slugs. But snails, I'm much more comfortable with. Not only because I can pick them up with their shell without getting slimed (I'm always rescuing snails from paths if i'm out after rain), but they just look "cute". Slugs are bloated and horrible, but snails seem to have a certain ...

Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

You could always spray them till they're stunned, then hold a lit match against them.

Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

I don't think that it was toxic as such, it just caused a sensory overload.

I've heard deoderant is a fairly good bug killer, due to it clogging up their breathing holes and suffocating them. Although that takes a while, and seems a little cruel (says me, I know).

Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

Actually I think it's more down to you not being efficient. No bug has ever pissed me off and lived. Although I have admittedly only battled 'roaches a couple of times, I must admit they put up a good fight. In cyprus, a 'roach (and a big one at that) was the longest to stay alive (or possibly consc...

They're immortal? Well it was only a matter of time before God punished us all. At least it's not lethal.

Re: Zero Punctuation thread Re: 2

Aye, but he was playing the PC version. The xbox version is better as so far as I've heard - the direct control, specifically, is supposedly much better.
And maybe he didn't have experience from the first which I'm sure many of it's players will have?

Re: Unveil Your Creativity

Hah, I wish. The original pic was something from the internets (can't remember if i looked for it or somebody else posted it somewhere). Anyway, it started out with just the top hat edited on as a response to a comment somebody made about that never going to happen, and then I added the cane and mon...

Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

You gotta watch it though, they're "stink bugs". Supposedly, they leave a bad smell wherever they go (but I've never noticed that), but if you scare them (ie, press down on them)... well... you can guess.
