Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

*makes "oooh, that's gotta hurt face"* I'm glad British bugs are comparatively harmless Speaking of "British bugs", I mostly found a Shield Bug at a bus stop. I sat and let it crawl about on my hand for a while, trying to get a pic of it with my phone, then left it on a nearby t...

Re: Conspiracy...

What little I have to add to the discussion at this point can be summarised as follows: Socialism is bad. Communism is fine, as far as I'm aware, you are rewarded depending on the amount of work you put in. But my experiences of socialism (that stemming from the appalling British government) is that...

Hate to disrupt the convo here, but is this a conspiracy thread or an astrology thread?

Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

As for letting moths into your room mudo, that is a bad idea. Moths eat and destroy fabrics and lay eggs in them. I'm pretty sure that's only Elephant Moths. Any I've had haven't touched my clothes, and I've never found a single "mothball". Or eggs. They seem more interested in taking on ...

Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

FUCK YEAH GLOUCESTERSHIRE! We have moths and butterflies everywhere. They also seem to be colonising my bedroom. Can I have your bedroom? I usually let all the moths into my room, 'cos I'm nice like that (my light usually draws them in, what with me being up at all hours). There seems to be an outb...

Re: All creatures great and small (and somewhere in between)

Caterpillars are fuzzy and cute. I like them. Shame if you hug them that there's a bout a 2/3 chance you'll die, or at least lose a limb. Luckily any caterpillars we find over here (which are few and far between, i think all butterflies in england are now extinct atm, at least in more urban areas), ...
